Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the GOSHbooth service, including the photo booth experience, website, and related services operated by GOSHCo.

1. The Service

GOSHbooth is an offline-first DSLR photo booth rental service operating in Chennai. We provide equipment, setup, operation, and teardown for events including weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and celebrations.

2. Booking

• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of advance payment as communicated at the time of booking.
• Booking confirmation will be sent via email or WhatsApp.
• Event date, venue, and duration must be confirmed at the time of booking.
• GOSHbooth reserves the right to decline bookings at its discretion.

3. Our Responsibilities

• We will arrive at the venue at the agreed time for setup.
• We will operate the booth throughout the agreed event duration.
• We will handle all equipment delivery, setup, and teardown.
• We will provide on-site technical support throughout the event.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide adequate space (minimum 3x3 metres) for booth setup.
• Ensure access to a power outlet at the venue.
• Inform us of any venue restrictions or special requirements at least 48 hours before the event.
• Ensure guests treat the equipment with reasonable care.

5. Photos and Content

• All photos captured are the property of the event host and guests.
• GOSHbooth will not use event photos for marketing without explicit written consent from the event host.
• Photos are stored for 90 days after the event and then permanently deleted.
• GOSHbooth is not liable for photos lost due to equipment failure, power outages, or connectivity issues beyond our reasonable control.
• At the conclusion of the event, a complete photo archive will be compiled and provided to the event host via a secure Cloudinary download link stored in Firestore.

6. Liability

• GOSHbooth's total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by venue access issues, power failures, or events beyond our control.

7. Intellectual Property

• GOSHbooth software, overlays, branding, and designs are owned by GOSHCo.
• Custom overlays created for a client's event are for that event's use only.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
